The Oklahoma State Energy Office (SEO) works to advance a clean energy future for Oklahoma by achieving goals such as increasing energy efficiency, developing alternative and renewable energy resources, promoting economic growth with improved environmental quality, and reduce dependence on imported oil. The office provides leadership and guidance to Oklahoma’s citizens, businesses, and communities through communication, outreach, technology deployment and access to partnerships and resources to help maximize energy efficiency and renewable energy for the entire state.
NOTICE: Community Energy Strategic Plan (CESP) Request for Proposals
A Community Energy Strategic Plan (CESP) is an overarching, comprehensive blueprint for a community to focus and guide efforts and actions towards achieving a well-defined energy vision. The State Energy Office, located within the Oklahoma Department of Commerce is releasing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to provide competitive funding for communities and tribal communities across Oklahoma to either develop a new CESP or update an existing CESP currently in place. Funding in the amount of up to $10,000 is available with an estimated $90,000 in funding available statewide on a competitive basis.
